Unconfortable truth.
The War in Darfur is an unconfortable one to show. Feautured on UN maps as a place if constant humanitarian crisis, Darfur hosts several millon people who barealy subsist, stripped of all human dignity as a perpetual no-man´s land.
The lastest episode of ethninc cleansing has been going on for seven years, and the human cost coud not be more tragic: 300.000 dead almist three millon refugees and five millon human beings dependent on humanitarian aid to survive.
The Sudanese govermenet presided by Omar Hassan Ahmad al- Bashir - proud owner of an international arrest warant issued by the international Criminal Court for suspected crimes against humanity and genocide- has relentlessly sabotaged the humanitarian missiona and the portection of efforts of the United Nation in the region. The continual attacks by pro.government Janjaweed militias in the civilian population have made Darfur a huge Regugee camp.
